TIM TRICKEY BIO

Tim Trickey was raised in Pleasant Hill, OR where he was a solid student and a decorated athlete and musician.  He attended both the University of Oregon and Oregon State University where he received his degree in Political Science.  After college, he went to work full time on several State Legislative and State Senate races in Oregon, where he earned a reputation as a tenacious "free-market" advocate and became Oregon's most successful political consultant under the age of 30. 

Over the course of the last eight years, Tim has managed six campaigns, worked for more than ten candidates, run the Republican Party in the Portland area, and is a free-lance consultant to various political groups and non-profit organizations throughout the Northwest and California. 

In the last four years, Tim started his own business based out of the Portland area specializing in "direct democracy" and all aspects of the "initiative process".  In 2006, Tim's business, Democracy Direct Inc., successfully qualified four statewide initiatives for the ballot and assisted on three others.  In 2008, they have already qualified seven statewide initiatives for the upcoming November ballot, gathering more than 1.5 million signatures from Oregon voters in the process.

Tim currently lives in rural Clackamas County where he is a volunteer firefighter, an avid sportsman, and active member of his small community.
